This year, World Toilet Day, is focusing on the relationship between sanitation and nutrition. They are trying to emphasize the importance of toilets in supporting better nutrition for all. “On this day people are encouraged to take action and help promote the idea that more needs to be done” (UN). On World Toilet Day, you can host an event, draw a cartoon, participate in an Urgent Run, or even write a song- anything that shows #wecantwait and that everyone globally must have access to a toilet.

On the World Toilet Day website you can see all of the global events being hosted on November 19. From a school and state toilet run in Chandigarh, India, to a coloring sketch day in an Islamic elementary school in Indonesia, people are celebrating world toilet day to bring more awareness to the issue of lack of toilets in our world. Add your own event and spread the news. Anyone can participate.
